Over the last decade, I’ve helped modernise legacy brands without losing what made them iconic in the first place. I’ve elevated and protected visual worlds for globally recognised brands including Head & Shoulders, Max Factor and, more recently, Dove - creating work that lives consistently from campaign to shelf to screen.
Over nearly four years on Head & Shoulders, I led a new global visual direction for the brand, including securing photographer Simon Emmett for the first global campaign and developing a photographic treatment that rolled out internationally.
Across four years on Max Factor, I played a key role in repositioning the brand within contemporary beauty culture, helping elevate its fashion credentials and refresh of its iconic logo.
Alongside leadership roles including Global Head of Beauty at Saatchi & Saatchi, I’ve worked across agencies, in-house teams and founder-led businesses to build distinctive, scalable creative systems.
THIS INCLUDES
• D2C Unilever. Developed Dove Beauty’s social-first visual language for product campaigns and led end-to-end content shoots, delivering 300+ still and moving assets.
• D2C Models Own. Defined the packaging visual identity across the portfolio, creating a scalable design system to support future innovation and range expansion.
• D2C Full visual rebrands and launch campaigns for emerging wellness and skincare brands including EarthZest Organics, APS (Aesthetically Perfect Skin) and LBB Skincare - creating ambitious startup work through trusted collaborations with photographers and directors, often stretching lean budgets further through strong creative partnerships.
My approach combines big-brand thinking with hands-on delivery. From concept development and design to shoot direction, production and final assets. I work across the entire creative process using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and AI as part of my workflow. I’m equally comfortable shaping the big idea or designing the presentation deck.
I’m currently helping establish a community Arts Hub in Cornwall (while renovating our future home), developing the brand identity and social presence while growing an engaged local creative community over time. And occasionally I’m found working from a camper van with my wife and two chihuahuas.
Open to in-house and freelance opportunities across London, Bristol and remote working.

I'm a Creative Director and Copywriter who's worked at BBH, Ogilvy, Wunderman Thompson, Vayner Media, and FCB Inferno across London and New York. I make work people notice, remember, and occasionally argue about. If it's polite, it's probably not finished.
I specialise in brand voice, positioning and naming. Helping brands stop sounding like everyone else and start sounding like themselves. Work that's sold a product every 2 seconds and crashed websites on launch day (Boots Future Renew), turned a forgotten drink into the most successful campaign in 60 years (Robinsons), and won Gold at The Drum Awards for making invisible pain visible with 'Superflexible Not Superhuman' (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome awareness).
I've been part of winning pitch teams for major accounts including UEFA Women's Football and a £5M healthcare client. I’ve led teams at G2, Ogilvy and Vayner Media. Clients and colleagues describe me as ‘incredibly witty, fantastically clever’, but what they value most is that I keep teams happy and deliver.
Now I work freelance with select clients, often when things feel messy or undefined. Established brands rethinking their voice. Start-ups building from scratch.
At the heart of everything I do is a focus on real human truths. No wallpaper. No fillers. Ideas that cut through noise, shift perception and start conversations.
I work solo or as a team with Shelley Dobson. Eight years in. Still restless.
